Pricewise (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Pricewise mobile application and related services at aipricewise.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us.

Information we collect

• Account information — If you sign in, we collect your email address, display name, and profile photo URL (when provided by your sign-in provider).
• Location information — With your permission, we use your device location or address to find nearby grocery stores and relevant prices.
• Shopping lists and app data — Lists, search queries, and profile settings you create in the app.
• Identifiers — A unique user ID assigned by our authentication provider to keep your account and data linked.
• Technical data — Basic request and device information needed to operate the app and API (for example, app version and network requests to our servers).

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide grocery price comparison and store discovery features
• Save and sync your shopping lists when you are signed in
• Maintain your account and app settings
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of our services
• Respond to support requests

Why we collect data

We collect and use data solely for app functionality — to deliver the features you use in Pricewise. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

Pricewise uses trusted third parties to operate the app:

• Google Firebase — authentication and cloud storage for account and list data
• Google Maps / Places — address autocomplete and location services (where enabled)
• Pricewise backend — hosted at aipricewise.com to process price searches and related API requests
• Price data providers — third-party services that retrieve publicly available product and pricing information from retailers and shopping sources

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies. We share only what is necessary to provide app functionality.

Data retention

We retain account and list data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see below).

Your choices

• You can use some features without signing in; shopping list sync requires an account.
• You can deny or revoke location permission in your device settings; location-based features may not work without it.
• You can sign out at any time from the Profile tab.

Children

Pricewise is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Delete your account and data

To request account deletion or export of your data, email us at alpha.ai.us@gmail.com with the subject line “Pricewise Account Deletion Request” and the email address associated with your account. We will verify ownership and delete your account data within a reasonable period, unless we must retain certain information for legal or security reasons.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date above.
